What to look for

Look for the original problem, work included, approved changes and the final result. Before-and-after photographs should show the same space, with the homeowner permission needed for publication.
When comparing a past project with your home, ask what differs in layout, condition and finish level. A past invoice is evidence of that project, not a quote for another property.
